Couple of new and old drawings up. This is my contribution to the Upfront exhibition in Newcastle next month. A limited run of screen prints will be available post show via my online store.
I am planning an event in Newcastle for the 19th of April at 6-9pm. Here are some details:
UPFRONT is a celebration of T-shirt culture and T-shirt art for those that appreciate the difference between images that are meant to be worn and those that aren’t. The exhibition features established and emerging artists from Australia and from other far reaches of the globe.
The event will take place on the 19th of April at Curve Gallery, 37 Watt St Newcastle starting at 6pm and going through the evening.
20 artists have been chosen to produce a print for the front of a T-shirt, each to be printed in a limited edition of 15 equalling 300 shirts in total. The artworks will also be available as screen prints on custom sized 330gsm Spicers paper.

Plus combination packs to be announced.
Some independent labels will also be on show/for sale on the event. These labels are Ruler Melbourne, Pass-Port, Malade, Chopkooks, Deadly Garments, The Bowery, AGD, Zekahene and The Hollow Bones Co.
PLUS A LIMITED EDITION, 80 PAGE MAGAZINE & POSTER TO BE RELEASED ON THE NIGHT.
The exhibition will run for one week after opening night.
There will be plenty of booze, stickers and good times.
